Our Company
BluePondWellnessTM is a health design and development company that focuses on the burgeoning wellness market and its applications across the lifespan. We create opportunities for truly wellness-based, intergenerational living by bringing state-of-the-art wellness, fitness, and health resources into the built environment through our actual and virtual wellness hubs(sm). Our clients include forward-looking residential and commercial developers, healthcare systems, employers, universities, and municipalities seeking to deliver superior customer experiences by incorporating healthy living and prevention as a lifestyle into their projects. Projects span a broad range from mixed use to master planned communities to "intentional communities" promoting aging-in-place. Much of our work's focus is multi-generational and seeks to leverage sustainable and universal design.BluePond Wellness was formed with a strong appreciation for the growing "mature adult" demographic both U.S. and worldwide and our commitment to helping improve daily quality of life for the many individuals - young and older - living with chronic problems or age-related conditions (e.g., obesity, diabetes, asthma, arthritis). Recent clinical, scientific, and technology gains offer new paths for enhancing wellness at various stages of life and consumer demand continues to skyrocket. BluePond Wellness recognizes the chance to introduce these resources and promote their adoption by carefully customizing and seamlessly integrating both hands-on and health technology resources in a variety of settings.
How We Work
BluePond's model centers around the design and implementation of its unique "wellness hub(sm)." This hub intentionally serves as a vital and strategic center for many of the activities associated with our clients' projects, from retail to workforce retention, from recreation to sports rehab, from social interactive technologies to lifelong learning. Based on our client's target demographics, BluePond brings the most desirable wellness services and products to end users of all ages, whether residents, patients, students, employees, or visitors.
We work as a comprehensive but highly specialized advisory and service partner for our clients, bringing a broad spectrum of expertise at all stages from the initial, specialized needs assessment and planning through product/service design to implementation and continuing oversight. Through our early involvement, we ensure that clients derive maximal synergies among core project components and the best use of related resources (e.g., green spaces and trails).
Where construction is not an option, our wellness hub is optimally suited for virtual design and access for the target audience as well for projects considering retrofitting or renovation of existing structures.
